IMD ISSUES ORANGE COLOR WEATHER WARNING FOR SOUTH KASHMIR, BANIHAL-RAMBAN, CHENAB VALLEY, POONCH RAJOURI ETC. FOR NXT 24 HRS.

As expected, widespread Heavy to Very Heavy snow/rain with thunder in plains of Jammu reported since last 2 days. The same is most likely to continue till tomorrow forenoon( especially in South Kashmir, Poonch, Rajouri, Chenab Valley, Pirpanjal etc.).

We expect significant Improvement in weather from tomorrow afternoon with decreased snowfall, better visibility but from 7th onward cold wave will return. Expect warmer days and colder nights for nxt 1 week from 7th onwards.
WARNING:
1. Please Avoid venturing out in Snowbound Hilly Areas as theres every chances of snow Avalanche due to Very Heavy Snow.

2. Clear snow on your Roofs frequently (especially Kaccha Homes).

3. Open doors/windows frequently to ensure enough supply of oxygen in ur homes & remain safe..if not..it will cause death due to asphyxiation( due to poisonous gas carbon mono oxide from ur bukharis/heater etc. In ur room). Enure proper ventilaltion & be safe.

*Kulgam police arrests drug peddler and recovered contraband substance*  Acting tough against the drug dealings, Kulgam Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession. A police party headed by SHO Police Station Kund SI Mohd Hussain while performing Routine checking laid a Naka at Kraloo Kund and intercepted a person moving in suspicious circumstances who after noticing police party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully. During checking, Officers were able to recover 3 1/2 Kgs of Poppy Straw like substance concealed in a plastic bag from his possession. He has been identified as Ghulam Hassan Bhat S/O Ghulam Ahmad Bhat resident of Kraloo Kund. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 58/2020 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Kund and investigation into the matter has been initiated. CBSE class 10th & 12th exam dates announced

‘CBSE Board exam will be held between May 4 and June 10 CBSE Board exam will begin from May 4 and conclude till June 10. Results will be declared by July 15. Practical exams will begin from March 1. Earlier this month, Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had clarified that there is no possibility of conducting the board examination till February and the dates regarding the same will be decided only after analysing the situation of pandemic in states. He had also confirmed that board examination will be held in offline mode only, as always.
